First Floors is Proud Sponsor of Promising Young Powerlifter

First Floors is pleased to be sponsoring a young woman from Dorset who is one of the top powerlifting talents in the world.

Jaime Lei Fuller, 16, became interested in powerlifting when a conditioning coach at her school, LeAF Studio in Bournemouth, recognised her lifting potential. Since then, Ms Fuller has gone on to compete at international level and has been named British Champion in her age group three times. Her most recent success came at the British Championship held in Northumberland at the beginning of November where she achieved a squat of 105.5kgs, bench of 57.5kgs and deadlift of a hefty 115kgs!

As Jaime doesn’t receive funding from British Powerlifting, she is completely self-funded. Powerlifting for your country is by no means a cheap sport, with coaching, equipment and travel costs to consider, which is why to continue her campaign representing the UK on the world stage, Jaime needed sponsorship. First Floors is delighted to provide Jaime with the much-needed sponsorship and is proud to be a part of helping her go from strength to strength.

Jaime’s next competition is the European Championship in Lithuania which takes place at the end of November, where she hopes to smash her previous record. Everyone here at First Floors wishes her luck in her forthcoming competition and all future events.
